Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Campuslo (operated by Campuslo, "we", "us") handles personal data. It follows India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

Who is who

The business that uses Campuslo (a shop, gym, school, hall etc.) decides why and how its own customers' data is used. We process that data for them. For the account holders who sign up for Campuslo, we are the one responsible for their data.

What we collect

• Account details: name, mobile number, email, business name and address.
• Customer records that businesses enter: names, mobile numbers, bookings, orders, payment status and notes.
• Payment details for subscriptions. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by our payment partner (Razorpay) and are not stored by us.
• Basic technical data such as device type and error logs, used to keep the service working.

Why we use it

• To run the service: bookings, orders, bills, reminders, receipts and support.
• Marketing messages: we or the business may send offers and updates on WhatsApp, SMS or email to customers' mobile numbers only if the customer has opted in. The opt-in box is never ticked by default. Opting in is optional and does not affect the service.
• To meet legal, tax and security obligations.

Consent and withdrawing it

We rely on your consent for marketing. You can withdraw it any time by replying STOP, by telling the business, or by writing to hello@campuslo.in. Withdrawing does not affect past processing.

Your rights

• Ask what data we hold about you and get a copy.
• Ask us to correct wrong data.
• Ask us to delete your data. Write to hello@campuslo.in from the mobile number or email on record. We will delete it, or tell you the legal reason we must keep something (for example tax records), within 30 days.
• Nominate someone to exercise your rights, and make a complaint to us first and then to the Data Protection Board of India.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with: the business you deal with, service providers that help us run Campuslo (hosting, database, payments, messaging), and authorities when the law requires it.

Storage and security

Data is stored with access controls so each business sees only its own records. We keep data while the account is active and for the period needed for legal and tax purposes, then delete or anonymise it.

Children

Where a school, tuition or similar business enters a child's details, the parent or guardian's consent is taken by that business. We do not use children's data for marketing or tracking.

Cookies

We use only the browser storage needed to keep you signed in and remember settings. We do not use advertising trackers. If that changes, we will add a notice here.

Analytics on the public website

If the site owner turns on Google Analytics 4, it runs only on the public website pages (campuslo.in home, language and legal pages), never inside school, parent, student, driver or office pages. Google then receives standard usage data such as pages visited, device type and approximate region. We do not use advertising trackers.
